Aston Martin’s V12-Powered SUV Is Ready for Battle

Aston Martin has partnered with the creators behind Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to develop an off-road SUV called the Dreadnought, which will feature an all-wheel-drive V-12 powertrain. The vehicle exists exclusively within the upcoming video game and carries a design described as “aggressive” and “assertive.” The game is set to release on October 23, 2026, across major platforms including Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and the Nintendo Switch 2.

The exterior of the Dreadnought is fashioned from carbon fiber and defined by sharp angles. A set of three LED strips arranged like a staircase forms the headlights, tucked into the front bodywork. The rectangular grille houses a pair of square LED spotlights, while a silver skid plate sits beneath a second grille opening and tow hooks. The wheels are wrapped in knobby tires and sit inside trapezoidal wheel arches, giving the vehicle a wide track and commanding stance.

The rear of the SUV is as complex as the front. A pronounced ducktail spoiler sits atop the roof, while slatted louvres replace the rear windshield. The taillights feature eight LED dashes reminiscent of special-edition Astons like the Vulcan and Valour. Quad-exit exhaust pipes protrude above massive tow hooks, and the rear bumper is virtually absent, exposing the tires to create an excellent departure angle.

Tactical Interiors

Inside the cabin, the atmosphere shifts toward a tactical feel while maintaining a sense of luxury. The dashboard, seats, and steering wheel are wrapped in military green leather. Metallic gold accents appear on the Aston Martin badge, stitching, trim pieces, and the gear lever. A pair of circular dials sit behind an octagonal steering wheel, with several screens housed within a thin rectangular bezel that stretches across the dashboard.

Aston Martin boasts that the Dreadnought offers “supercar levels of performance” alongside robust armor and “adaptive combat zone intelligence systems.” While this is a digital creation, the automaker has produced a full-size model that will be displayed at Fanatics Fest in New York. Players will be able to find the vehicle at key points of interest on the map in both DMZ and Call of Duty: Warzone modes.

Unlike similar past collaborations between automakers and game studios, the Dreadnought will not be a marketing stunt for a physical production run. The vehicle remains a digital asset, serving as a unique in-game asset rather than a concept car that will ever see a public road. The developers have implemented strict testing protocols for the vehicle’s handling physics.
